Party Radar

Hello beloved reader, this chapter is hosted by me,
ned/Hybrid. I`ll let you know here a little about all 
those ill-wacked scene-events, as I attendmost of  `em these
days.

This was THE party of the parties! No doubt the cremé del a
cremé of the scene held a neat meeting.
The range of the attendents was from C64 `cross the Amiga 
going to PC...and well even having some PSX ppl around.
The provided network was superb giving me the possibility 
to download from the local FTPs with the tasty speed of up to
1400k. That`s the way we like it.
Beginning the party on a friday most ppl came around afternoon
and started setting up their equipment which ment that around 
early evening a few 100 servers were running to offer great
software, mostly endless MP3 collections.
We (2 friends and me) collected around 30MP3 CDs...and then
started sucking the games and apps! What a hell of a work!
The events on the party were just perfect.
There was an accapella performance by some singers doing old
SID-tunes and the contestants, any sceners, were forced to guess!
Comando Lybia! The scene-spirit was burning.
Also great demo-, graphic- and XM-competions were held, which
actually didn`t let the PC look very good, as Amiga was much
more creative.
To let you know about some scene-gossip I could just mention that
LKCC are real wuzzies! If you go to a scene-party you ain`t 
supposed to play Quake2 all day long like a 13yearold game-kid.
But LKCC did,hehe! 
A big suprise was to see people from all scene-generations 
such as the real old TRSI  people and also some of today.
It could be understood as the meeting of  generations as in
StarTrek!  ;)
The facilities itself were brilliant. Two very good looking girls
had to clean them all the time, so it was a great pleasure to
go shittin`! ;)
Also I`d like to mention that the organizers handled the all-time
problem "Alcohol" *very* well. Eventhough very many ppl
were drunk like hell everybody(!) kept peacefull and didn`t 
get on anyones balls as the idiots from "Lightforce" did last
year.
24hours-a-day food and softdrink-supply was garantueed...
so the LKCC guys could drink coke...eat chips...and play 
quake...just like home! ;)
The outdoor-competion was a real big fun for everybody...
well,except the competors!
The game was simple:Two scene-idiots had to chain their 
hands and legs. Then the bad-mooded showmaster, Steeler,
threw 2 disks into a pool and the idiots had to grab `em with
the mouth!
Ofcoz they were wet as hell, not having anything besides 
to wear with `em....and ofcoz freezing their ass off!
gr8 fun!  :>
In case you won in a competion you got quite fine prizes
after the party!Money!$$$!

As a last word I`d just like to advise all of you that being in 
the scene if o.k.....but the real kick is such a party.
